MENLO PARK, Calif., June 19, 2017 -- Sift Security today announced it has received certification of its Threat Hunting and Incident Response application with ServiceNow®. Certification by ServiceNow signifies that Sift Security has successfully completed a set of defined tests focused on integration interoperability, security and performance. The certification also ensures that best practices are utilized in the design and implementation of Sift Security’s Application with ServiceNow.
Sift Security's next generation security operations platform supercharges threat hunting and incident response. Sift's scalable graph database correlates high volumes of diverse data sources, removing the manual burden from your team. Novel artificial intelligence identifies and prioritizes critical risks. And our intuitive threat hunting interface, workflow and automation reduces response times.
Sift Security’s integration with ServiceNow enables better coordination and faster response to incidents. With this integration, you will be able to create tickets in ServiceNow from the Collaborate tab in Sift Security. A typical use case would include a SOC analyst using Sift Security to investigate an alert, after which they create a quick summary report of their findings, and then use the ServiceNow integration to open a ticket to initiate any actions that are required. This integration supports cross-launch capability from Sift Security into ServiceNow (to view and edit a ticket) and vice versa (to review or continue an investigation in Sift Security).
“Many of our early customers are using Sift Security to investigate incidents or proactively hunt for threats. These investigations typically result in a set of actions that must be taken, which often extend to different parts of the organization. Many of our customers are already using ServiceNow to manage this workflow and requested that we integrate Sift Security with ServiceNow to enable seamless action to further accelerate response times,” said Neil King, CEO at Sift Security.
