Simplismart raised $14 million in a Series B round to develop its AI software and expand in North America, while CEO Amritanshu Jain estimated that U.S. revenue made up about 55% of the total.

Dallas Venture Capital led the round. Nvidia, Accel, Shastra VC and Micromax also participated. Jain said Simplismart has more customers in India than in the U.S.

The company said its annualized revenue run rate had reached 14 times its level six months earlier by Oct. 27. Simplismart did not give a dollar figure for the measure. Jain said the calculation uses recent customer activity to estimate an annual pace, rather than contracted recurring revenue. It also leaves out revenue Simplismart passes along to infrastructure providers.

The startup’s platform adjusts AI model deployments to individual application needs and gives cloud providers tools to package managed services around GPU resources. Simplismart plans to put the funding toward its inference engine and orchestration platform as it grows in North America.
