U.S. spot Solana exchange-traded funds posted record weekly inflows of $188 million, highlighting growing investor demand for SOL exposure through traditional brokerage accounts.
Bitwise’s Solana ETF, BSOL, dominated the market, attracting approximately $128 million during the five trading sessions through Sept. 25. That represented about 68% of the group’s total weekly inflows. Grayscale’s GSOL followed with $28 million, while Fidelity’s FSOL collected $18 million. Solana ETFs from Morgan Stanley, VanEck, Franklin Templeton and 21Shares accounted for the remaining $14 million.
Friday marked the strongest single day since the spot Solana ETFs launched. The funds recorded nearly $87 million in net inflows, representing almost half of the week’s total. Bitwise captured $56 million on Friday, while Grayscale added $19 million.
Spot Solana ETFs allow investors to gain exposure to SOL without directly purchasing cryptocurrency or managing digital wallets. Net inflows represent new capital entering the funds after accounting for withdrawals.
Bitwise has maintained a commanding lead since launch. BSOL has attracted approximately $1.2 billion of the $1.6 billion in cumulative net inflows across U.S. Solana ETFs, giving it roughly 76% of the market. Its 68% share last week indicates rival issuers are also beginning to capture more investor demand.
The Solana ETF surge came amid broader institutional buying of cryptocurrency funds. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted approximately $2.4 billion during the week, while Ethereum ETFs recorded around $690 million in inflows.
SOL traded near $119 during Monday’s Asian session, remaining about 60% below its record high of roughly $293.
Meanwhile, Solana developers continue testing Alpenglow, a network upgrade designed to reduce transaction finality from approximately 12.8 seconds to around 150 milliseconds. The upgrade entered Solana’s second public testing environment on Friday, although developers have not announced a launch date for the live blockchain.
