Solana said tokenized-equity holder addresses reached 1.2 million on Oct. 2, showing growth in a market whose trading volume and token supply are tracked separately.
Its Oct. 2 announcement put September’s additions at 775,000 holder addresses.
Blockworks’ Solana dashboard defines a holder as an address holding a tokenized-equity product. It counts addresses, not individual investors.
The Solana Foundation said tokenized stocks generated about $4.4 billion in trading volume on the network during September, while tokenized-equity supply reached $684 million. Trading volume, supply and holder addresses measure different aspects of the market.
Tokenized equities are part of Solana’s broader real-world-asset market. Castle Labs valued that market at $4.3 billion in an Oct. 15 comparison, as EconoTimes’ earlier coverage of Solana’s real-world assets detailed.
