Solana (SOL) fell 2.63% to $92.90 between 9 and 10 a.m. ET (14:00–15:00 UTC) Nov. 5, while public data from three exchanges showed long positions dominated liquidations.

Records from Binance, Bybit and OKX put liquidations at $10.85 million for the interval. Long positions accounted for $10.83 million, while short liquidations totaled $20,000.

SOL started the hour at $95.41 and ended at $92.90. The exchange tally excludes liquidation activity on other venues, so it covers only those three platforms.

Liquidation totals measure the value of positions closed, not traders’ final realized losses. Long positions generally benefit from price increases, while short positions benefit from declines.

An earlier EconoTimes report on a one-hour Solana rise covered a separate Nov. 4 period, when SOL climbed 2.60% as $5.69 million in short positions were liquidated. That snapshot also recorded $40,000 in long liquidations.
