Sonatype, the leader in automated open source governance and DevSecOps, is proud to announce it has been named an IDC Innovator in the agile code development market by International Data Corporation (IDC).
The report, IDC Innovators: Agile Code Development Technologies 2018, was announced April 25 via press release, and details Sonatype’s commitment to help companies innovate faster while mitigating security risks. The distinction is shared with CloudBees, Inc. and GitLab, Inc. who also earned recognition in the category.
“Nexus Repository has become the system of record for managing build artifacts in DevOps pipelines around the world. Combined with unrivaled open source governance from Nexus Firewall and Nexus Lifecycle, we’ve created the best solution to automatically control security risk without slowing down software innovation,” said Wayne Jackson, CEO of Sonatype. “We're honored to be recognized alongside other great companies in CloudBees and GitLab.”
About IDC Innovators
IDC Innovators reports present a set of vendors – under $100 million in revenue at time of selection – chosen by an IDC analyst within a specific market that offer an innovative new technology, a groundbreaking approach to an existing issue, and/or an interesting new business model. It is not an exhaustive evaluation of all companies in a segment or a comparative ranking of the companies. Vendors in the process of being acquired by a larger company may be included in the report provided the acquisition is not finalized at the time of publication of the report. Vendors funded by venture capital firms may also be included in the report even if the venture capital firm has a financial stake in the vendor's company. IDC INNOVATOR and IDC INNOVATORS are trademarks of International Data Group, Inc.
