Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum are starring in a new drama called “Encounter” so prior to its premiere, the two actors attended the press conference that was held on Nov. 21 in South Korea. The new tvN drama’s presscon was also attended by other support cast members and its director Park Shin Woo.
Now, during the question and answer event, Song Hye Kyo was asked how it was like working with Park Bo Gum and Song Joong Ki’s wife only has good things to say about her leading man. Firstly, she said that contrary what most people believe, she is not really close to Bo Gum at first.
It should be noted that many people may have assumed that they are close because the Park Bo Gum is really close to Song Joong Ki, the actress’ husband. The two share the same circle of friends so it is no wonder why people may think that way.
Song Hye Kyo said that Bo Gum is younger than her but it was still hard for her to approach him, however, this does not mean that they are not getting along. In fact, the actress said that everything went smoothly on the set because everyone on the set is working hard and they get along well.
The former “Descendants of the Sun” actress added that there was no misunderstanding while filming because she, Park Bo Gum and director Shin Woo talk a lot and their conversations greatly help them with their filming in Korea and Cuba. In any case, via her interview with E! News, Song Hye Kyo revealed that her role in “Encounter” is a divorcee who was able to find meaning in her life again after meeting Cha Soo Hyun (Bo Gum).
Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki is also working on his own new drama titled “Asadal Chronicles.” He will be reunited with “DOTS” co-star Kim Ji Won in this period fantasy series that is also slated to be released on tvN network in 2019.
“Encounter” is set to debut on Nov. 28 on tvN.
