SoundHound Expands Voice AI Partnership With Ultraviolette at EICMA

SoundHound describes the move as a lineup-wide, production-scale expansion, while Ultraviolette’s EICMA release lists integration on the X-47 Venom without a wider schedule.

On Nov. 4, Ultraviolette Automotive demonstrated its VIOLETTE A.I. voice co-pilot at Milan’s EICMA show as SoundHound AI announced an expanded partnership, leaving wider model coverage and rollout timing unspecified.

SoundHound said the agreement extends its work with the Indian electric motorcycle maker to power the assistant. The company framed the expansion as a move across Ultraviolette’s global electric-vehicle lineup, but supplied no model-by-model scope. CEO and co-founder Keyvan Mohajer said the partnership would enable deployment at “true production scale.”

Ultraviolette’s EICMA release describes the collaboration as an effort to explore voice features and lists SoundHound integration for the X-47 Venom. It does not identify other models or give a schedule for broader availability. SoundHound says it introduced VIOLETTE A.I. at CES 2026.

EICMA runs Nov. 3-8 in Milan. Ultraviolette said its demonstration covered both riding and preparation: riders could change modes or request directions, while also asking about the manual, reviewing ride statistics and checking pre-ride status or service alerts. SoundHound’s feature list includes traction and ABS adjustments, diagnostics, media and calls. Riders activate the co-pilot by saying “Violette” through an audio-enabled helmet headset, SoundHound said.

Ultraviolette CTO and co-founder Niraj Rajmohan said the assistant is intended to let riders handle routine requests and settings through speech. He called voice “a natural way” to simplify those interactions.

Ultraviolette’s release says deliveries of the X-47 Venom are expected to begin in early 2027, but does not identify that date as the start of every voice feature. The companies disclosed no contract value, customer price or cost allocation.

SoundHound says adding its OASYS platform is on Ultraviolette’s roadmap, while the manufacturer describes advanced agentic AI integration as a future direction. Neither company has dated that step. SoundHound’s investor calendar lists its third-quarter 2026 earnings call for Nov. 5 at 5 p.m. ET; the company has not identified it as a partnership decision point.
