All you 'New Girl' fans out there, this is for you!
There is another reason for you to rejoice and celebrate for a very merry and happy new year because the new season of 'New Girl' finally returns and with a big bang. The production team in a press release announce that there was some kind of a delay in the premiere of the new episode to accommodate for the pregnancy of Zooey Deschanel who plays Jesse in the sitcom.
The last episode of season 4 showed Cece (Hannah Simone) and Schmidt (Max Greenfield) getting engaged which means there will be a party for the upcoming new episode. Jesse and Nick (Jake Johnson) will be asked by the two become their Maid of Honor and Best Man. And with a new year, new season, comes a new character! The Atlantic posted that the gang will welcome a new roommate to compensate for Deschanel's loss since she will be on a maternity leave and will be seen in only five episodes of the season. Not only will Fox replace Jesse's energy in the apartment, but she will bring with her issues and past stories that might ruin Cece and Schmidt's relationship.
Megan Fox will take on the role as Reagan who will spice things up in the apartment as she will be seen half naked in the first episode of season 5. Winston will show interest to Reagan but will be turned down for Reagan's interest will be on Nick. Hmm, fishy! Reagan's role will also focus on her revealing to Schmidt that she and Cece had a thing in the past. Fox also teased that they may have a shower scene with Cece.
Are you now excited? Good! Let us all watch out for the new episode of 'New Girl' Season 5 which premieres on January 5 on Fox.
