Lookonchain recorded a $1.65 billion fall in stablecoin market value during Oct. 12–18, while four public companies added Bitcoin (BTC), leaving weekly crypto market measures moving in different directions.

Lookonchain's summary described a spot volume rebound at decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and an uptick in perpetual trading volume.

The tally also put the four companies’ combined increase in BTC holdings at 7,721.

A separate Oct. 18 snapshot of DEX turnover cited GeckoTerminal data showing $5.7 billion traded in one day, down 32.04% from Oct. 17 but up 8.87% from a week earlier. That daily reading and the latest weekly changes cover different intervals.
