Staking Strategy: Inside BitMine’s $16 Billion Ethereum Power Play

At $2,726 per coin, BitMine Immersion Technologies has officially pushed its Ethereum treasury beyond the 6 million ETH mark to reach 6,016,414 ETH worth roughly $16.4 billion. Adding 15,112 ETH over just the last week helps the corporate titan to now own around 4.9% of the whole available ETH supply, so closing down on its declared "Alchemy of 5%" goal. With cash, Bitcoin, and strategic stakes, total corporate assets come to $17.4 billion, so confirming BitMine is the biggest Ethereum treasury in the world.

Instead of letting its reserves lie idle, BitMine is actively producing yield by staking an amazing 84% of its total Ethereum holdings—5,067,309 ETH. With a 2.63% yield rate, this large staked position estimated to be worth $13.8 billion is expected to produce about $363 million in yearly staking incentives. Although it leaves only 16% of its ETH stack in liquid reserves, this strategy establishes a standard for corporate treasury management and turns a static balance-sheet reserve into an active operational income stream.

This hostile approach changes public corporations' crypto asset management by combining constant protocol rewards with significant exposure to underlying ETH price volatility. Every 1% change in Ethereum's price causes BitMine's balance sheet to vary by around $164 million; therefore, the continuous yield offers an institutional buffer against market changes. BitMine's sizable $17.4 billion consolidated balance sheet now puts it second only to Strategy's Bitcoin holdings in worldwide business crypto reserves.
