Starbucks has embraced the spirit of hanami with a delightful lineup of cherry blossom-themed beverages in Japan. The latest offerings are a nod to the beloved tradition of flower-viewing, adding a touch of elegance to the spring season.
Sakura-Inspired Beverages Arrive
In a move that celebrates the beauty of cherry blossoms, Starbucks recently introduced two new drinks. SoraNews 24 noted that the Hanami Matcha Cream Frappuccino and the Hanami Blonde Latte capture the essence of hanami with their unique flavors.
The Hanami Matcha Cream Frappuccino blends matcha and cherry blossom-infused white bean paste, creating a beverage embodying Japanese springtime's essence. Topped with whipped cream and sakura-flavored fiantine, it promises a taste of the season in every sip.
Spring Colors and Flavors
The drinks' pink, green, and white hues evoke a sense of springtime bliss, transporting customers to a hanami flower-viewing picnic. According to Japan Web Magazine, adding matcha adds a vibrant touch to the traditional cherry blossom theme.
Starbucks enthusiasts can enjoy these limited-time offerings until March 12, with Starbucks Rewards members gaining early access starting from February 28. The Hanami Matcha Cream Frappuccino is priced at 668 yen for takeout and 680 yen for dine-in, while the Hanami Blonde Latte is available in various sizes from 530-671 yen.
Starbucks' sakura drinks provide a delightful indulgence for those looking to savor spring flavors. With the addition of these new beverages, customers now have a selection of four cherry blossom-inspired drinks to choose from until mid-March.
Embracing Tradition with a Modern Twist
Starbucks continues to innovate by infusing classic beverages with seasonal elements, offering a unique experience for coffee lovers in Japan. The blend of traditional flavors and contemporary twists creates a harmonious balance in each sip.
As the sakura season approaches, Starbucks sets the stage for a vibrant hanami celebration. With a range of sakura goods and beverages, customers can immerse themselves in the beauty of spring at their local Starbucks store.
