Starbucks Tea & Cafe in Japan has announced the addition of two new beverage flavors, and these are the Peach Tranquility Tea Frappuccino and the Peach Tranquility Mousse Tea Latte. These will be released in the stores starting Feb. 15.
The release date varies depending on the location. It was mentioned that the new tea flavors will only be available in Starbucks Coffee Kirarina Keio Kichijoji, Starbucks Coffee Roppongi Hills Metro Hat/Hollywood Plaza, and Starbucks Coffee LUCUA which is set to open on Feb. 25 and located on the second floor, as per Japan's Entabe.
Starbucks Tea & Cafe's Peach Tranquility Tea Frappuccino is a beverage made with Teavana's Peach Tranquility Tea, a kind of tea leaf that is known for its mild peach flavor and subdued chamomile aroma. Each cup is served with white peaches, Peach Tranquility, strawberry pulp, and milk-flavored tea Frappuccino.
It is sprinkled with cherry blossom powder to add a gentle fragrance of Sakura once served. In the press release, it was stated that the pink Peach Tranquility Tea Frappuccino has less than five percent of the strawberry juice and the end product is really an elegant drink in pink color.
This can be purchased at Starbucks Tea & Cafe for 736 yen for the tall size and 750 yen for the venti size. It is available for to-go and dine in. The good news is that it will be in the stores for several weeks which means it will be around from Feb. 15 until Apr. 24.
For the Peach Tranquility Mousse Tea Latte, this flavor is also made with Teavana's Peach Tranquility tea and milk. Dried peaches and Cherry blossom powder is added for a bit of Sakura flavor and scent.
Both the Peach Tranquility Tea Frappuccino and the Peach Tranquility Mousse Tea Latte are available for orders in either hot or cold. The latter also has the same price as the Frappucino version.
Meanwhile, the Starbucks Tea & Cafe is a Starbucks store that exclusively offers an array of tea drinks. Its tea beverages are mostly made with the TEAVANA brand so the tea leaves used in the stores are truly high-quality.
