There has been a continuous flow of photo leaks suggesting that they offer the first look at the “Starfield” images. The latest round of leaks includes a couple of photos showing more details on the spacesuit seen in previous reports.
‘Starfield’ gameplay screenshots leak with closer look at in-game spacesuit?
All the previous images that emerged online were showing a playable character wearing a spacesuit, who appear to be wandering around different areas in a space station. Because the screenshots are in a third-person view, the leaked images only show the rear side of the spacesuit in all previously leaked photos.
However, a set of new images became available online (via Reddit u/wooshthem) showing different sides of the spacesuit. While the color scheme looks the same in the old and new leaked photos, the more recent images seem to be showing an earlier version of the spacesuit because the details are very different. The helmet and the oxygen tank in the new leaks look more rugged and bulky while the first released photos show a more refined design of spacesuit.
The same source also showed other supposed “Starfield” gameplay screenshots that could be featuring another area in the mystery space station. It also sparked speculations that the gameplay would introduce various factions in the space epic as another logo appeared in the series of new leaks.

“Starfield” developer Bethesda has yet to address the series of images that are being released online. However, content creator Skullzi who has been covering the upcoming game Skullzi also previously said that the earlier photos that appeared online were real and were taken from a 2018 build of the game. In a YouTube video, he suggested that more images could be released but also maintained that the claim Bethesda Game Studios developer Rafael Vargas being the source of the leak is untrue.
‘Starfield’ release date announcement remains elusive
Bethesda has been very careful not to say anything definitive about the “Starfield” release date or release window since it was announced in 2018. The studio has only advised fans to be patient for their first IP in 25 years. More recently, Bethesda Softworks’ SVP of public relations and marketing department Pete Hines responded to fan speculation that there may not be new announcements about “Starfield” this year.
However, that happened back in August way before all these leaks have made headlines. With the fans more excited about “Starfield” now, it is unknown if this would change Bethesda’s plan now.
