Starknet (STRK) was quoted at $0.05962 in an Oct. 19 market snapshot, down about 4% in that snapshot and well below its early-October level above 10 cents.

The reported 24-hour low was $0.05851 and the high was $0.06474; trading volume was approximately $100.3 million. At $0.05962, the snapshot stood close to the reported 24-hour low.

An earlier market quote showed $0.1022 at 8:59 p.m. ET Oct. 10 (00:59 UTC Oct. 11), with a 40.4% gain over its preceding 24 hours. The Oct. 19 quote was about 41.7% below that earlier price; the roughly 4% figure describes the Oct. 19 snapshot, not the change since Oct. 10.

Separately, holders are taking part in Starknet’s seven-day, nonbinding poll on whether to study an independent layer 1. A vote in favor would begin research, while further proposals and votes would be needed before a network transition. Starknet’s governance post cites reliance on Ethereum for the bridge and data availability as the reason to consider independence. Results are due when the poll closes.
