The Stellar Development Foundation said stablecoin transfer value on Stellar rose 121% in the third quarter of 2026 from the previous quarter, showing more value moved through the blockchain.
The percentage compares transfers across two quarters. It is separate from the value of assets held on Stellar, which also supports payments and asset issuance.
The foundation reported a record 3,922 monthly active developers. Stellar also completed two protocol upgrades during the quarter. The developer count and upgrades describe network activity beyond stablecoin transfers.
In a separate snapshot, the foundation listed $4 billion in tokenized real-world assets on Stellar as of Sept. 1, 2026, as detailed in earlier coverage of Stellar’s asset tally. That figure measures assets recorded on the network at a point in time, while the 121% increase measures the change in stablecoin transfer value over a quarter.
