Binance futures account data showed a long majority for Stellar Lumens (XLM), while a separate one-hour taker-volume reading favored sellers, showing that the measures describe different market activity.
Among top-trader accounts, 64.1% were long and 35.9% were short. Across all Binance futures accounts, the split was 59.3% long and 40.7% short. Those percentages count accounts holding each type of position, regardless of position size.
Monday’s one-hour taker-volume window closed at 3 a.m. ET (08:00 UTC). Its buy-to-sell ratio was 0.6725, meaning sell-side volume exceeded buy-side volume during that window.
On Monday, XLM traded near $0.17 on Binance’s spot market, down 1.12% over 24 hours. In a Sunday EconoTimes market snapshot, it was quoted at $0.1679 at 4:20 a.m. ET (09:20 UTC).
Futures open interest stood at about $30.1 million in notional value, a 3.05% increase from 24 hours earlier. The increase alone does not show whether traders opened new short positions. Chart readings for Nov. 2 placed the 50-day simple moving average at $0.19 and both the 200-day simple and 26-day exponential moving averages at $0.18, above the spot quote.
