Stellar says activity involving Tether USDt (USDT) on its network has passed $500 million, a tally that counts USDT alone while the blockchain tracks broader stablecoin volume separately.

The total is more than double an earlier $200 million USDT milestone. Stellar said that mark was reached in fewer than 10 weeks.

Stellar is an open-source public blockchain intended for financial products and services. Separately, the Stellar Development Foundation reported that stablecoin transfer value on the network rose 121% in the third quarter of 2026 from the previous quarter.

The quarterly comparison measures transfer value, rather than the value of assets held on the network, as described in earlier EconoTimes coverage of the increase.
