“Stranger Things” season 4 has been renewed just in September this year. With its renewal, spoilers in the form of predictions and theories have emerged. New updates about the sci-fi drama have also been released and here are some of the things to know before the fourth installment arrives.
Hopper’s fate - Did he really die?
“Stranger Things” season 4 is highly anticipated and one of the reasons is to know what really happened to Hopper. Is he alive?
At the ending of the third season, he was seen sacrificing himself so that Joyce Byers can finally close the door that links the Upside Down and the real world. After the intense scene and Joyce was able to seal it, Hopper is gone.
The Theories
Express reported that when “Stranger Things” season 4 returns, the fans will see Hopper’s fate. But the good news is that everyone may see him again as he could turn out alive after all. There is a theory that this will be made possible after Eleven and Kali join forces to bring him back.
Another theory is that there will be more subjects from the Hawkins Lab who will appear in “Stranger Things” season 4. This could be correct because in the teaser for the next chapter, the screen showed the text: "We're not in Hawkins anymore." This may mean that the other subjects will finally be free and may reunite with Eleven again.
Fans could be looking forward to seeing nine more subjects from the Hawkins Lab because it was assumed that there are eleven of them. With Eleven and Kali, who is also known as Eight, already made it out earlier, then there are nine more skilled people to be revealed.
New cast addition and release date
“Stranger Things” season 4 will arrive with new characters and this was reported by TV Line. the producers and creators of the show revealed that they will be adding three teen talents and one adult who will join the fourth season. Lastly, filming will start in January 2020 and the expected date of release is between December 2020 and January 2021.
