Strive reported 43,000 Bitcoin (BTC) in its treasury on Oct. 23 after buying 6,182 BTC in a week, while its filings also trace holdings to its January acquisition of Semler Scientific.
An Oct. 26 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said Strive bought 6,182 BTC from Oct. 17 through 23 at an average price of $82,732 per coin, including fees and expenses. The company had reported 36,818 BTC on Oct. 16, making the reported increase over the period equal to the purchases. EconoTimes previously covered the weekly purchase and updated balance.
Strive’s quarterly filing records 5,048 BTC from its Semler Scientific acquisition, which was completed Jan. 16. That amount came through the acquisition, separate from the October purchases.
The prospectus listed Bitcoin acquisitions as one possible use of net proceeds among several and left allocation to management’s discretion.
