Friday’s update had quoted spot gold at $3,892.78 an ounce and reported a 3.19% decline. The two figures are separate observations; EconoTimes previously covered Friday’s below-$3,900 reading.
Gold recorded a 0.42% intraday decline Tuesday, a day after a Reuters quote put it above the threshold.
