Suri Cruise will enter the show business and it was reported that her first acting debut has been confirmed. Based on the report, Tom Cruise’s daughter will be starring in the revival of Katie Holme’s “Dawson’s Creek.”
According to Australia’s NW Magazine, the 90s hit show will be coming back on television and it will star the original cast that includes Katie Holmes, James Van Der Beek, Joshua Jackson, and Michelle Williams. The report stated that the cast has been meeting secretly after expressing their desire to so another series together.
As to how the idea of “Dawson’s Creek” came up, the magazine wrote to celebrate the 20th anniversary (of the show), the cast got together for a photo shoot and this left them feeling nostalgic. “They realized how much life has changed since they appeared on the show and they had such a good time catching up and reminiscing,” the source said.
The source went on to allege that there will be a new addition to the “Dawson’s Creek” revival and that is Suri Cruise! “Suri expressed an interest in acting, and this could be the perfect opportunity for her to get a taste of what the world is like while having her mum by her side,” the dubious tipster stated.
The source added that although the group already accepted the idea of Suri Cruise joining the show, “Nothing has been decided yet.” Judging by what the source supposedly told NW, they are determined to have the 12-year-old aboard.
Now, because the report sounds ambiguous, Gossip Cop went ahead and contacted Katie Holmes to confirm if it is true that Suri Cruise is debuting through “Dawson’s Creek.” The publication was assured by the actress’ rep that the story is false.
The rep said that Tom Cruise’s ex-wife is not doing the reboot of the teen drama so this means that her daughter is not doing it too. It then called the alleged “Dawson’s Creek” revival as an “imaginary project” and for obvious reason, there are no talks of producing a reboot, period.
