The TAIEX lost 1,156.50 points after the Nasdaq Composite fell 1.38% Thursday. Alphabet and Amazon reported strong cloud growth, while Amazon also recorded a $42.4 billion free-cash-flow outflow.
Turnover totaled NT$877.73 billion (US$26.96 billion) after the market fell 1.42% Thursday.
The Economic Times described the move below ₹170.75 as a downward breakout.
