The Taiex stood 54.98 points above its previous close at 46,942.75 early Thursday, with trading valued at NT$8.48 billion (US$261.55 million), Central News Agency (CNA) reported.

The previous distribution was $0.3877 per share. Oct. 21 was both the ex-dividend and record date for the payment scheduled Oct. 22.
The maximum ₹7.02 billion offering included fresh shares for the company and shares sold by existing shareholders.
The latest public issuer and SEBI materials reviewed still show a June proposal for up to 66.5 billion rupees.
