Yemen’s Taiz Military Axis Command said Oct. 28 that it carried out six strikes against Houthi positions in three districts, but did not specify whether there were casualties or property damage.

The command announced the operations in two Facebook statements. It said three strikes took place across Al-Misrakh and Samea districts, followed by three at Mount Al-Armah in Jabal Habashi district.

EconoTimes previously covered a separate report of strikes in Taiz.

In an Oct. 20 statement, the army said it carried out 744 operations against the Houthis over 24 hours amid a southwestern offensive. That report described aircraft, drones, artillery, rocket launchers and sniper activity, and claimed 90 vehicles and other military assets were destroyed or damaged. The 744 total grouped operations using multiple types of weapons; it was not a count of airstrikes near Mokha.
