Yemen Satellite Channel described strikes on Houthi sites in three parts of Taiz on Thursday. The channel named radar and communications systems, missile launchers and weapons depots.

A day earlier, the channel reported strikes east of Mokha during a southwestern offensive, as covered in EconoTimes' earlier report on the strikes. That earlier account did not detail its targets or casualties, and said the extent of damage was unknown.

The Yemeni army separately said in an Oct. 20 statement that it carried out 744 operations against the Houthis over 24 hours, using aircraft, drones, artillery, rocket launchers and snipers. It claimed 90 vehicles and other military assets were destroyed or damaged. The tally covered operations involving multiple weapons and was not a count of airstrikes near Mokha.
