Temple’s website lists Nov. 1, 2026, for pre-orders of its first wearable, while reports of Rs 85,000 invitations have put an unconfirmed price in focus ahead of the sale.
Deepinder Goyal described the offering as Batch 01 in a post on X. The website invites visitors to join a waitlist but does not show a retail price.
India Today reported that an invitation sent to selected users listed Rs 85,000 and a lifetime subscription. The screenshot published by the outlet was credited to X user Tharun M. ETtech separately said waitlist applicants had shared screenshots on X showing the same amount. The reports do not establish whether the invitation terms will apply to every buyer.
The reported figure is higher than earlier media estimates. ETtech’s July 27 report cited an expected price of Rs 75,000 to Rs 80,000, including lifetime software access and a lifetime supply of adhesive tapes. The Times of India reported a similar indicative range on July 28. Temple has not announced a public price.
Goyal has said Temple plans to build each device after an order and deliver it within three months. EconoTimes previously covered Temple’s preorder timeline and delivery window. In May, Goyal said the company had 100 devices ready for its founding-user effort, with places intended for applicants it believed could provide useful feedback. That was a separate early-access program; Temple has not published the current waitlist’s selection criteria or Batch 01’s size.
BrainFlow is the name Temple gives to the measurement used by its head-worn wearable. The company’s terms say the product is not a medical device and describe its data as for general wellness and information, rather than diagnosis or treatment.
The next stated milestone is Nov. 1, 2026, when Temple’s website says pre-orders open. The site does not give a batch size or a specific shipping start date.
