Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair continued his tributes to Palestinian children before the team's Oct. 18 game in London, displaying Maryam Ghanem's name after an earlier NFL equipment fine.

Al-Shaair wore the name on his eye black before the Texans faced the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium. Al Jazeera reported that local journalists rescued Ghanem from her family's burning home after an Israeli strike in Gaza City. Her mother died, Ghanem was treated at a hospital for burns, and her father had died earlier in the war, the outlet said.

Al-Shaair began the season's tributes with Hind Rajab, whose name he wore during a Sept. 13 game against the Buffalo Bills. Rajab was killed in Gaza in 2024, according to Al Jazeera. The NFL later fined Al-Shaair for wearing her name during the game under its rules on players' clothing and equipment.

NBA player Kyrie Irving offered to pay the fine. Asked about the fine in October, Al-Shaair told reporters that a life was priceless.
