Thailand selected 44 medical AI firms for MADE, a program intended to help companies prepare products for testing and regulatory steps while building routes to hospitals, investors and commercial partners.

The Digital Council of Thailand’s Sept. 21 announcement attributed the totals to the president of the Artificial Intelligence Entrepreneurs Association of Thailand: more than 80 applications and 44 firms chosen. The release was issued with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and the Technology and Innovation in Life Sciences National Agency.

The assistance spans research and development, performance testing, ISO standards support, cybersecurity and business planning. It also includes preparation for registration with Thailand’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA), along with introductions to hospitals, investors and business partners.

MADE’s work plan includes entrepreneur development, business matching, a Global Showcase and the Medical AI Network (MAIN). It also calls for guidelines on registering medical AI products. The listed activities cover both product preparation and connections with potential users and partners.

Deputy Prime Minister and Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Minister Yodchanan Wongsawat said research teams need support systems that help test and certify prototypes before useful technologies reach everyday settings. He described the challenge as building routes from research work to practical use and broader markets.

Separately, Thailand’s government Public Relations Department lists medical AI and robotics, support for domestic medical industries, genomic care and precision medicine among Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) priorities under its “New S-Curve” agenda.

Organizers scheduled the Global Medical AI Summit for Friday, Oct. 30, at Grand Hall, FL3, True Digital Park West. The event listing includes showcases and business matching.
