‘The 100’ season 4’s episode 7, titled “Gimme Shelter,” is set to follow Clarke and Abigail as they face an ethical dilemma in order to test the cure. Meanwhile, Bellamy will struggle to keep people safe back in Arkadia when the deadly rain begins to fall.
The brief synopsis for “Gimme Shelter” posted on TV Guide reads, “Clarke's (Eliza Taylor) arrival on the island takes a turn for the worse. Elsewhere, Bellamy (Bob Morley) attempts to prevent further tragedy in Arkadia.”
The promo for episode 7 shows Clarke settling on the island and she begins to strategize ways on how to save people from the threat of a deadly radiation with her mother. Abigail (Paige Turco) will then receive an urgent call telling her that deadly acid rain has begun to fall. People will need to find shelter or risk being killed off.
Abigail thinks that she knows the solution to the problem but this may not fare well with the others since the experimental procedure will involve sacrificing a human life. They will need to know if her serum will work or not and the only way to do so is to utilize a test subject, who will be exposed to deadly radiation. Although Clarke is clearly appalled by the plan, she believes that this is the only way to save humankind.
Clarke then asks Abigail, “Who do we test?” Abigail is set to face one of her biggest ethical dilemmas yet. She asks, “If I take a life to find a cure, does that make me a murderer?”
Meanwhile, Bellamy will be struggling with problems of his own back in Arkadia. According to TV Fanatic, Bellamy and Kane will have to do what they can to keep the people safe when the deadly rain begins to fall.
The 100’ season 4’s episode 7, titled “Gimme Shelter,” is scheduled to air on The CW on March 22, 2017. It was directed by Tim Scanlan and written by Terri Hughes Burton and Ron Milbauer. It will be followed by episode 8, titled "God Complex," directed by Omar Madha and scheduled to be released on March 29.
