‘The 100’ season 4’s episode 8, titled “God Complex,” will follow Clarke and her mother Abby as they wrestle with the consequences of human experimentation in order to save the rest of humanity.
The short synopsis for “God Complex” posted on TV Guide reads, “After a disappointing discovery, Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Abby (Paige Turco) question how far they're willing to go. Meanwhile, Jaha (Isaiah Washington) finds a lead to the mysterious Second Dawn.”
Despite the lack of plot details for the upcoming episode, it is clear that Clarke Griffin and her mother Dr. Abby will be facing a host of ethical dilemmas in their desperate effort to find the cure to save humanity against the threat of impending radiation. In the wake of a disappointing discovery, the Griffins will need to reevaluate how far they are willing to go.
According to Christian Times, Abby will need to face the consequences of experimenting with a human being in a bold move that means sacrificing the life of one person for the sake of Earth’s residents.
Abby will need to experiment on someone to prove that the serum she managed to develop does indeed work. Abby will need to come to terms with the fact that if the experiment fails, she will be labeled a murderer.
The episode follows “Gimme Shelter," where Abby and Clarke were deliberating about the steps they need to undergo to protect the people from impending doom, especially since the black rain has begun and has taken some victims in its wake. Clarke even asked her mother about who they will need to do the test on.
Meanwhile, Jaha (Isaiah Washington) will discover new information about the Second Dawn Cult led by the enigmatic Bill Cadogan.
‘The 100’ season 4’s episode 8, titled “God Complex,” is scheduled to be released on March 29, 2017. It was directed by Omar Madha and written by Lauren Muir.
