‘The Catch’ season 2’s episode 4, titled “The Family Way,” will follow Alice as she is forced to confront her past and choose loyalties despite a possible conflict of interest with Ben. Alice and her team will also uncover one of Margot’s biggest secrets.
The synopsis for “The Family Way” posted on TV Guide states, “Alice (Mirelle Enos) and Ben (Peter Krause) get caught in each other's crosshairs when they must choose between loyalties. Meanwhile, Alice is forced to confront a past she hoped she'd left behind; and AVI may have uncovered one of Margot's (Sonya Walger) biggest secrets.”
The upcoming episode will feature Alice as she faces more challenges for her work and personal life. She will need to confront her past and will also be forced to choose her loyalties even though this would lead to a conflict with Ben, who may be more loyal to the opposition.
According to International Business Times, this will not be the first time Alice and Ben will be pitted against each other because of circumstances. Alice will feel the need to protect her younger brother Tommy (T.R. Knight) but Ben doesn’t necessarily feel the same. Ben may choose to protect Rhys (John Simm) instead.
Meanwhile, Margot will be enraged to see Ben again. The promo opens to Alice arriving at Margot’s place, to which she reveals that she brought Ben with her.
Margot then confronts Ben in the next scene. She yells, “We had a life together and then you chose her!”
Ben asks, “What do you want me to do?” Margot replies, “I want you to disappear.” It is clear that the two are nowhere near amicable despite sharing a romantic relationship in the past.
Margot is also a con artist and is the current head of Kensington Firm. She is the brain behind Ben and Reggie’s assignments. The character first appeared in the series’ pilot episode and is portrayed by English actress Sonya Walger, who is best known for her role on the ABC drama series ‘Lost.’
It seems that Alice and her team will uncover more about Margot’s past especially since she has now become AVI’s client. Margot attempted to kidnap Alice at some point and even wanted her dead. However, she decided to seek Alice’s protection after finding out that someone was after her.
‘The Catch’ season 2’s episode 4, titled “The Family Way,” is scheduled to air on ABC on March 30, 2017. It was directed by Allison Liddi-Brown and written by Rina Mimoun. It will be followed by episode 5, titled "The Bad Girl," directed by Sharat Raju and scheduled to be released on April 6.
