‘The Catch’ season 2’s episode 5, titled “The Bad Girl,” will follow Ben and Alice’s relationship as it is threatened by complications. The AVI will also explore and investigate Margot’s past to find the person set on destroying the Kensington Firm.
The synopsis for “The Bad Girl” posted on TV Guide reads, “The AVI team dig deep into Margot's (Sonya Walger) past to uncover the truth about who is set on destroying the Kensington Firm. Meanwhile, Ben's (Peter Krause) plans for his future with Alice (Mireille Enos) become more complicated than he ever imagined.”
It seems that Ben and Alice’s relationship will hit more roadblocks in the upcoming episode, as stated on the synopsis. Ben’s plans for a future life with Alice will become even more complicated as more issues arise.
The promo hints of impending family drama surrounding Ben, Alice, Margot, and a young girl. It was speculated that the mysterious girl may be the daughter of Ben and Margot. She is set to go on a paternity test to prove her parentage.
Meanwhile, Margot will be under investigation by AVI as they attempt to uncover more about her past in order to find the person, who is attempting to destroy the Kensington Firm.
The upcoming episode will shift its focus from Alice’s own family drama, which slowly unfolded in the previous episode. According to Entertainment Weekly, “The Family Way” followed Alice as she was forced to deal with her brother, Tommy (T.R. Knight), after he became involved in a risky money scheme. Alice also had to deal with her past in addition to trying to keep her brother safe from dangerous criminals.
‘The Catch’ season 2’s episode 5, titled “The Bad Girl,” is scheduled to air on ABC on April 6, 2017. It was directed by Sharat Raju and written by Ameni Rozsa. It will be followed by episode 6, titled "The Hard Drive," directed by Steve Robin and scheduled to be released on April 13.
