‘The Catch’ season 2’s episode 9, titled “The Cleaner,” will follow Alice as she receives a life-altering confession. It seems that Ben will finally take matters in his own hands and go after Alice’s ex-lover, Ethan.
The synopsis for “The Cleaner” posted on TV Guide reads, “The AVI team discover the working relationship with Margot (Sonya Walger) isn't as clean as they'd like. Meanwhile, Alice (Mirelle Enos) finds herself on the receiving end of a life-altering confession.”
In the upcoming episode, Alice is set to receive some life-altering news. Basing on the promo, it seems that her ex-fiancee, Ethan Ward (Warren Christie) is about to drop a heavy confession telling her that he still loves her. Alice is clearly shocked by the revelation and it will be interesting to see how she deals with it now that she promised herself to someone else.
It seems that Alice is not the only one deeply affected by the news. The promo opens to Rhys (John Simm) telling Ben (Peter Krause), “Welcome back to the bad guy business! Who’s the target?” Ben replies, “Ethan Ward.”
According to Christian Post, Ben continued to be suspicious of Ethan ever since he returned to Alice’s life. Ben was convinced that Ethan has a hidden agenda despite Alice’s reassurances that the man was harmless.
Meanwhile, the team will face a dilemma after learning that their working relationship with Margot isn’t as clean as they’d like it to be. It seems that Margot will be teaming up with her murderous daughter with Ben to get some jobs done and this will not sit well with the others.
Season 2’s episode 5, titled "The Bad Girl," introduced Tessa Riley, the mysterious teenager that claimed to be Margot’s long-lost daughter. She claimed that hasn’t seen her adoptive parents, Steven and Susan, in more than a year and has been on the run after getting expelled from school for threatening to blow it up. Tessa admitted that she went after Margot by hiring The Hammer for $1 million since she blamed her for her awful childhood and upbringing.
‘The Catch’ season 2’s episode 9, titled “The Cleaner,” is scheduled to air on ABC on May 4, 2017. It was directed by Rob Greenlea and written by Jon Dorsey & Greg Goetz. It will be followed by, titled "The Mockingbird,” scheduled to be released on May 11 and directed by John Stuart Scott.
