DALLAS, Nov. 07, 2016 -- The Delta Companies (TDC), a leading staffing firm for healthcare professionals nationwide, has announced it has been recognized by the American Staffing Association (ASA) with its prestigious Genius Grand Award, the top recognition of the organization’s 2016 ASA Genius Awards. TDC was honored for its multimedia campaign “Did You Know” as well as for its work to advertise and market the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters event, “2016 ASPR Client Event.” The multimedia campaigns consist of print, video, and digital content. TDC’s wins were in the category representing firms with $25 million to $100 million in annual sales, which had the most entries across all categories.
The ASA Genius Awards, which are handed out annually, recognize excellence in staffing industry marketing, advertising, multimedia, and public relations. This is the fourth time TDC has been recognized by the ASA.
In regards to the “Did You Know” campaign, one judge said: “Communicating that emotional feeling of caring for your travel nurses was so well done…it resonates and is so memorable because The Delta Companies made them feel important and take care of.” And of the ASPR event, one judge said, “Excellent visual design of the campaign for the ASPR Conference. Able to combine the spirit of New Orleans and the frustration and challenges of finding healthcare talent with a great sense of humor and empathy.”
TDC was also honored with two Telly Awards for video work in the Corporate Communications category. The winning entry was for a video called Toy Drop 2015, which explains how TDC raised $139,180.95 and collected 1,226 toys and books, all to benefit Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
“We are honored to be recognized by both the ASA and the Telly Awards for creating content that helps those professionals and communities we feel so passionate about,” said Eric Sasser, Director of Advertising for TDC. “One of best parts about working at TDC is the autonomy and creative freedom. The leaders of this company value out-of-the-box ideas and innovative design and content. While creativity can sometimes be a challenge in this space, the encouragement to stretch artistically and connect with the audience in a compelling way is part of what makes TDC so successful.”
