‘The Fosters’ season 4’s episode 14, titled “Doors and Windows,” is set to follow Stef as she takes drastic measures to stop her kids from further keeping secrets from her and partner Lena. Meanwhile, Jesus continues his rehabilitation while Mariana begins to see a therapist again.
The synopsis for “Doors and Windows” posted on TV Guide reads, “Stef (Teri Polo) removes the kids' bedroom doors after being fed up with their secrets; and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) begins seeing a therapist again.
Meanwhile, Jesus (Noah Centineo) starts physical therapy; and Callie's (Maia Mitchell) biological father enlists his high-paid attorneys to take on her case.”
It seems that Stef has had enough of her children’s secrets and is beginning to lose her patience. According to Cartermatt, Brandon’s (David Lambert) confession of not getting accepted into Julliard will prompt Stef to handle her children in one of the most drastic ways possible.
The upcoming episode will follow the Foster mom as she takes steps in ensuring that they will not be able to keep any more secrets from her and partner Lena (Sherri Saum), specifically by taking their privacy away by removing their bedroom doors.
This may prove to be an inconvenience for the children of the Adams-Foster household, who are also dealing on issues of their own. However, Stef is unyielding in following through with this challenging decision. It would be interesting to see if the kids will grow resentment for their parents.
Meanwhile, Jesus is trying to cope after his life-threatening experience. He has started rehabilitation, specifically physical therapy, in hopes of recovering fully. He is currently at home but his mood swings made it difficult for his parents to offer their help and compassion.
Callie, on the other hand, has just been released from juvenile detention after her biological father decided to intervene. He is set to hire some top attorneys to assist in her case.
Mariana is also taking steps to reclaim her old life. She will begin to see a therapist again to help her deal with the trauma created by her ex-boyfriend Nick’s (Louis Hunter) actions.
‘The Fosters’ season 4’s episode 14, titled “Doors and Windows,” is expected to air on February 21, 2017 on Freeform. It was directed by Susan Flannery and written by Constance M. Burge. It will be followed by episode 15, titled "Sex Ed," directed by Michael Medico and scheduled to be released on February 28.
