“The Irregular at Magic High School” season 2, episode 2 is likely to be more eventful than the series premiere. Students of the First High are expected to deal with more vampire incidents around the area while Lina tries to juggle two daunting missions at the same time.
‘The Irregular at Magic High School’ season 2, episode 2 spoilers
The first episode of “The Irregular at Magic High School” season 2 mentioned something about a vampire incident within the vicinity of the First High. Episode 1 also ended in a cryptic scene with two masked individuals standing over an unconscious woman, who appeared to have a gashing wound on her neck.
It was quite a clear indication that “The Irregular at Magic High School” season 2, episode 2 will focus more on the vampire incidents with the attackers now fleeing to Tokyo. The latest attack shown in the anime also comes after Lina received an urgent call from her associates in USNA confirming that their rogue forces have since fled to Japan, particularly in Tokyo. The next episode should address how these two things are related.
“The Irregular at Magic High School” season 2, episode 2, is reportedly titled “Visitor Arc II,” corresponding to the 10th volume of the same name light novel by Tsutomu Sato where the anime is based. The events in this volume were more focused on presenting the vampire incidents that would highlight the change of theme between season 1 and 2. While magic, obviously, remains the main tool to defeat enemies in season 2, the Visitor Arc deals with heavy references to occult elements such as the vampire attacks.
On top of that, “The Irregular at Magic High School” season 2, episode 2 is likely to present Tatsuya’s growing suspicion of Lina. The latter is one of the newest additions in the series, who was tasked to find the Strategic-Class magician that caused the Scorched Halloween. Tatsuya now knows that USNA has sent forces to find him, and Lina has had several lapses that may have compromised her cover.
‘The Irregular at Magic High School’ season 2 episode 2 release date, where to watch
It took six years before the anime returned with the follow-up on the events from season 1, and fans might want to support “The Irregular at Magic High School” season 2 through official channels to increase the chances of the anime in getting more installments in the future.
Streaming rights for the new episodes has been exclusively given to Funimation. “The Irregular at Magic High School” season 2, episode 2 will be released on Saturday, Oct. 10.
