The official Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NFT collection is coming soon, according to a 22-second Twitter video announcement showing the origin of the TMNT with toxic ooze falling into a sewer.
The video, which already got over 50 thousand views, was posted by @TMNTNFT.
The new collection is the first solo project by TMNT NFT, which worked with Funko last year.
TMNT, the famous animated Television show about four crime-fighting humanoid turtles, took the world by storm in the eighties and nineties and is aiming to have a similar impact on the NFT world.
TMNT first aired in 1987 and went on to spawn blockbuster movies, video games, merchandise, and much more. It was a worldwide phenomenon.
Between 1988 and 1992, TMNT toys earned over 1.1 billion dollars, making it one of the biggest-selling toys ever and is a massive part of pop culture history.
