Fans will be ecstatic for the good news that will be dished out for the upcoming episode of The CW's hit supernatural drama TV series "The Originals" which is now on its third season. So read on because major spoilers are lurking in this article.
So what is the good news then? The highly anticipated crossover event between 'The Originals' and 'The Vampire Diaires' is happening! Yes, it is! The first order of the night will find TVD character Stefan (Paul Wesley) heading over to New Orleans in the episode titled "Moonlight on The Bayou." Spoiler reports indicate that Stefan will be forced to leave his town, Mystic Falls, to run away and protect his loved ones from the ongoing threats of a vengeful vampire hunter, Rayna Cruz (guest star Elizabeth Blackmore).
The other reason that Stefan must head to New Orleans is because of the dire situation that the Original brothers are into right now. And with Stefan being one of Klaus's sire line, that makes him directly involved in the whole battle, especially when Klaus's life is threatened by the return of the White Oak. It's going to force Stefan to react, and, as executive producer Julie Plec told Entertainment Weekly, that reaction is going to have a direct impact on the way The Originals ends this season.
Battles are going to be epic and exciting as the band of witches The Strix will be doing some dangerous spells to eliminate the Originals. Aya (Racy Ifeachor) and The Strix bring their coven of witches will put Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Klaus in a magical trap which could potentially take down the Mikaelson family for good.
Frey (Riley Voelkel) will be the one to gather the team and fight on the brothers' side by gathering Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and the more powerful Davina (Danielle Campbell). It would seem that Davina has gained more control on her powers which would lead her to resurrecting a loved one.
So find out what happens next and stay tuned for more updates.
