Public liquidation data from Binance, Bybit and OKX showed $45.62 million in forced closures over one hour on Oct. 22, with long positions bearing nearly all the recorded amount.

Long liquidations came to $44.52 million, about 98% of the total, while shorts made up $1.10 million. The period ended at 12:50 p.m. ET (16:50 UTC) on Oct. 22 and included 6,200 events.

The venue totals were $31.58 million for Binance, $8.89 million for OKX and $5.15 million for Bybit. Among listed assets, Ether (ETH) led at $16.16 million; Bitcoin (BTC) recorded $9.09 million, and Solana (SOL) $2.29 million.

The figure reflects activity on Binance, Bybit and OKX, so it is not an estimate for the broader crypto market.

The reading continues EconoTimes' coverage of hourly exchange liquidations, including an Oct. 21 report on the same three venues.
