Titan Company shares rose about 9% between Oct. 29 and Nov. 5 closing prices in historical price data, while a separate 9.6% weekly return reported by The Economic Times lacks dates needed for direct comparison.
StockAnalysis’s historical-price data, attributed to S&P Global Market Intelligence, lists Titan at ₹4,434 on Oct. 29 and ₹4,835 on Nov. 5. That works out to a gain of about 9% over five trading sessions. The data lists a 1.7% rise on Nov. 5. The Economic Times’ live blog reported a Nov. 5 closing price of ₹4,834.60.
A Nov. 5 live-blog entry from The Economic Times put Titan’s weekly return at 9.6%, without identifying the start and end dates. Its figure therefore cannot be checked against the Oct. 29-to-Nov. 5 calculation, and the two percentages do not establish a direct discrepancy.
The comparison follows EconoTimes’ earlier report on conflicting Titan share-price readings ahead of the company’s results review.
Titan’s board was scheduled to consider unaudited results for the quarter and half year ended Sept. 30 at its Nov. 5 meeting. The company’s notice said it would publish the results after the meeting.
In a provisional update issued Oct. 6, Titan put consumer-business growth at 25% year over year in the second quarter of fiscal 2026-27. It reported growth of 21% in jewellery and 30% in watches, along with 78 net store additions during the quarter. Titan counted 3,758 stores as of September 2026 and said the figures were subject to limited review by its statutory auditors. The company also said jewellery demand softened toward the end of the quarter as the festive calendar shifted into the third quarter.
