Conflicting late-night readings in The Economic Times’ liveblog left Titan Company’s position against its 20-day exponential moving average (EMA) unconfirmed before the board’s Nov. 5 results review.
At 11:04:06 p.m. ET Nov. 2 (04:04:06 UTC Nov. 3), The Economic Times listed the shares at ₹4,463.00, down 0.30%, against an EMA of ₹4,464.11. A later entry at 11:15:14 p.m. ET (04:15:14 UTC) put the price at ₹4,524.90, above a second resistance level of ₹4,518.57. A summary seven seconds later showed ₹4,463.20. The liveblog’s text also said the shares had moved above the EMA, although its first listed price was below that level. These single-outlet readings have not been confirmed by a timestamped exchange quote.
In its Oct. 6 provisional update, Titan reported about 25% year-over-year growth in consumer businesses during Q2 FY2026-27 and 78 net store additions, bringing its consumer retail network to 3,758 stores as of September 2026. The company reported about 21% year-over-year growth in jewelry and about 30% in watches during the quarter. Titan excluded bullion and digital-gold sales from the provisional figures and said its statutory auditors would conduct a limited review. The update was also covered in EconoTimes’ report on Titan’s second-quarter growth.
Titan’s Oct. 20 notice says directors will review the company’s unaudited quarterly and half-year results for periods ending Sept. 30 at their Thursday meeting. The company said it planned to release the results after the meeting.
