A market-cap dashboard put stablecoins at 86% of its $342.9 billion tokenized-asset total Thursday, while rounded category figures left a $200 million gap in the display.
The stablecoin line showed $296.1 billion. The remaining entries were funds at $34.3 billion, commodities at $7.7 billion and stocks at $4.6 billion. Summing the four rounded amounts yields $342.7 billion, $200 million below the posted total; the page gave no account of the mismatch.
The page was checked at 3 p.m. ET (19:00 UTC) Thursday, Oct. 29, a viewing time that does not establish when its data was measured. It also reported changes of 1.6%, 0.4% and 2.4% over 30, 90 and 180 days, respectively, but showed no end date for those comparisons.
The $342.9 billion figure combines stablecoins with the fund, commodity and stock categories, so it cannot show the size of those three groups without stablecoins. The snapshot also does not establish whether issuers, blockchains or decentralized finance protocols generated revenue.
