Among four tokenized-asset groups tracked so far in 2026, tokenized stocks recorded the largest gain, as their reported market capitalization climbed 681.5% to $4.7 billion.

Commodities ranked second with a 110% increase, while tokenized funds rose 15.5%. Stablecoins were the only group to contract, slipping 2.3%. The comparison ranks tokenized stocks against three other tokenized-asset groups, rather than all asset classes.

A separate market-cap snapshot put tokenized stocks at $4.64 billion on Wednesday, Oct. 28. Token Terminal valued the segment at $4.4 billion in an Oct. 21 post, as EconoTimes’ earlier coverage of the valuation reported.

Some tokenized-equity products may give holders exposure to a stock’s price or a claim tied to it without transferring ownership of the underlying shares.
