Total Metals Corp. has completed a 416-meter hole at its High Lake gold project in northwestern Ontario, where the new program will test the Purdex Zone’s continuity and potential extent.

In an Oct. 19 update, the company said the hole crossed quartz veins associated with its target structures. That observation does not establish the hole’s gold grade. Total Metals has released no assay results from the new program.

The company aims to test how far the Purdex Zone extends and whether its mineralization continues. Each hole is intended to cross the zone’s host structures more than 230 meters below the surface. Under a contract with Platinum Diamond Drilling Inc., Total Metals plans at least 2,500 meters of diamond drilling.

Earlier work by previous owner McFarlane Lake Mining Limited underpins a 2023 Purdex resource estimate of 45,800 ounces of gold in the indicated category and 96,200 ounces in the inferred category. Neither category establishes an economically viable mineral reserve. Total Metals said a technical report filed in December 2025 confirmed that the estimate remained current.

The company also completed a lidar survey over western target zones. It said the survey would help locate earlier drilling and trenches for future planning.

Total Metals said it would provide updates as drilling and core sampling progress and assay results arrive, but gave no date for the assays. It expected to complete a second hole Oct. 19.
