TourMind is to add Sunrate payment capabilities, including Sunrate Cards, in an integration aimed at travel firms coordinating financial work across markets, from supplier payments to currency exchange.
Announced at ITB Asia 2026, the agreement calls for TourMind to incorporate Sunrate payment features into its technology ecosystem. Sunrate Cards are among the planned additions.
Sunrate’s announcement presents travel firms’ work across markets as the reason for the integration. It points to paying suppliers, exchanging currencies and managing finances in several markets as needs the partnership is meant to address. The companies say placing payment services within TourMind’s platform would bring them closer to travel businesses’ operating workflows.
Sunrate co-founder and CEO Paul Meng called the agreement “a natural partnership,” citing the companies’ shared interest in applying AI to travel. TourMind CEO Karma Young said AI is reshaping how travel businesses operate.
The companies gave no launch date or details on which markets or customer groups would be included first. They also disclosed no fees, other financial terms or expected savings.
