President Donald Trump used an early Election Day Truth Social post to attack Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed and tell voters not to support him, adding a personal charge to the state’s Senate contest.

Trump’s post accused El-Sayed of hating Jews and Black people, then added that he also hated White people. “Only fools would vote for him,” Trump wrote, warning that El-Sayed would “100%, do you in.” Trump did not name Republican Mike Rogers or expressly tell voters to elect him.

The latest New York Times-Siena poll put El-Sayed at 53% and Rogers at 42%. The Independent described Michigan as a key Senate battleground.

Roll Call’s database recorded 71 posts from Trump’s account during a single hour that morning. The Independent reported that Trump’s post followed Democratic Rep. Haley Stevens’ endorsement of Rogers after El-Sayed narrowly defeated her in the August primary.

EconoTimes previously covered Trump’s demand for metal-detector screening if El-Sayed were elected. Michigan voters were casting ballots in the Senate race Tuesday, Nov. 3.
