The Independent reported that President Donald Trump said doctors traveling with him would leave an attendee alone if the person suffered a heart attack at Wednesday’s rally for Arizona gubernatorial candidate Rep. Andy Biggs.
Trump described the attendee as a friend and joked that he looked at risk of a heart attack. He asked what his doctors would do if the person suffered one, then said they would keep following him and called the attendee “collateral damage.”
Trump also claimed Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs could not pass the test. He described being asked to remember “hat, hair, logo, white, black” and recall the words after what he called “25, 30 other questions.” He said few people could repeat the sequence and called himself a “frickin’ genius.”
The Independent reported that Trump was at the Bullhead City event to support Biggs in his race against Hobbs. The Federal Election Commission lists Nov. 3, 2026, as the date of the U.S. midterm elections.
