Two U.S. measures signed by President Donald J. Trump on Tuesday, Nov. 3, extend a religious-freedom commission's authority and renew a federal law on access to ALS therapies.

Under H.R. 8205, the ALS law's authorization is renewed through fiscal 2031, the White House said.

H.R. 1744 extends the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom's authority through fiscal 2028 and permits annual appropriations for it during that period, the White House said.
