Turkey’s chief of general staff, Gen. Selcuk Bayraktaroglu, and France’s chief of the Defense Staff, Gen. Fabien Mandon, met in France on Oct. 19, the Turkish General Staff said.
The General Staff said Bayraktaroglu traveled at an official invitation. A military ceremony welcomed him. Afterward, the chiefs met privately before holding discussions with their delegations.
The paper estimates $28 billion to $36 billion in one-time receipts. Its projected net loss assumes future income-tax losses persist indefinitely.
